I blogged for a solid twenty-four hours. Some of it may have been a great deal of jumble but it was fun and all the better because it was in the aid of charity.

Thanks to everyone who has commented at some point during the twenty-four hours and for the words of encouragement. Heck it was something of a group effort to keep me going at times.

Everyone should give this a shot at some point though I would suggest stocking up on snacks and good coffee. I could have done with the good stuff at quite a few points in the night. Coffee mmmm Ianto mmm Jack licking coffee flavoured chocolate off him mmmmmm.

My last little counter on the posts:

With a great deal of merriment and satisfaction I joined in the [info]savecoffeeboy coffee campaign and sent me letter off to to RTD care of BBC Wales. It was definitely fun taking part in a peaceful fan protest. Now it will just be interesting to see how much of an impact the letters do have.

*rests chin on hands*

I think I can finally put what I am feeling into words.

First to say....that was bloody brilliant tv it was a curse and a blessing it was done with Torchwood.

I've seen a fandom from birth to a burning death. Strange how empty it makes you feel.

If they are never to make another series of Torchwood...I could handle thinking that yeah that was the eventual ending of the team and keep my fandom joys to the first two series.

It was raw, it was shocking.

It's wasn't the Torchwood I loved.

But Torchwood could never have ended happily.

The death...I wish it had meant something...but it does reflect the world that all deaths don't have some meaning.

Jack made the hardest call of all with Stephen and yet...he's had to made calls like that before. If I was him I would have run too from all the memories.

I have the DVD sitting beside me. I won't watch it again until I am ready to put my fandom away for good.

Like [info]lady_razzle I think it became more about the pairing than the show but I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to the pairing just yet.

For now, I'm putting on a fresh pot of coffee and going back to pre CoE and the pairing that has gripped me.
